Avelo Airlines Launches Direct Flights from Rochester to North Carolina.

Avelo Airlines has launched exclusive non-stop flights from Rochester's Frederick Douglass — Greater Rochester International Airport to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina's Research Triangle. The airline will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and is the only airline with non-stop service between the two airports. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello said that this is the first nonstop service to North Carolina in decades.
