
National Cancer Research Institute in UK to Shut Down Due to Operational Risk.
The UK's National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI), a non-profit organization that has been advancing cancer research for 22 years, is shutting down due to uncertainty in the wider economic and research environment, according to NCRI chair Fiona Driscoll. Many of the original purposes of the NCRI have been achieved or taken over as business as usual by partners.
