
Unreal Engine 5.2 enhances graphics and gains native support for Apple Silicon.
Epic Games has released Unreal Engine 5.2, which includes support for Procedural Content Generation tools and the Substrate shading system. The update also features enhancements to the virtual production toolset, native support for Apple Silicon, and a new ML Deformer sample project. Additionally, Unreal Engine 5.2 brings improvements to Nanite and Lumen, as well as a new PSO precaching mechanism to improve PSO hitching in DX12 titles.
