"NASA's Mobile Launcher Preps for Artemis II Moon Mission"
NASA has rolled out the mobile launch platform (MLP) to the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center for testing. The 380-foot-tall tower will connect to NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) for the Artemis 2 mission, which aims to send a crew of four astronauts around the moon by the end of 2024. The MLP underwent repairs after the launch of Artemis 1, and now it will undergo outfitting, upgrading, and testing before supporting the assembly and stacking operations for the Artemis 2 SLS rocket.
