D.C. Celebrates New Michelin Stars in 2024 Guide

The latest Michelin Guide for Washington, D.C. has added two new one-star restaurants: Mita, a vegetarian Latin American eatery, and Omakase, a Japanese sushi spot. Additionally, Oyster Oyster, a vegan restaurant, received the city's first Michelin Green star for sustainability. The guide now features 116 restaurants, including those with Bib Gourmand ratings, representing 37 different cuisines. Notably, Pineapple and Pearls was downgraded from two stars to one, and Mayan lost its one-star status.
