Double Homicide Near Acapulco Beach Resort.
Two Mexican tourists were shot and killed while visiting a barbershop in the Puerto Marquez neighborhood of Acapulco, with a woman also wounded in the attack. The victims had arrived in Acapulco the day before for Easter week vacation. The resort has been plagued by drug cartel violence since 2006, with the situation worsening in the first few months of 2023.
