Boeing's 737 MAX Production Resumes, Shares Soar
Boeing has resumed production of its 737 MAX aircraft in Renton following a Machinists strike that halted operations from September to mid-November. The company plans to restart production of the 767 and 777/777X planes in Everett soon. Boeing has focused on safety, retraining employees, and ensuring tools and parts are ready for increased production. Despite the strike, Boeing delivered 13 planes in November, a drop from the previous year but an improvement from past strikes. The company is working to return to pre-strike production rates, with a backlog of 5,499 orders by the end of November.
