"Machete Attack in Times Square Prompts Manhunt"

Three people were taken into custody after a 32-year-old man was stabbed with a machete in Times Square, New York. The victim, who was stabbed in both legs, is in stable condition. Fatal shooting in Bradenton after man approached neighbor with machete.

A man was shot and killed in Bradenton, Florida, after allegedly approaching a sleeping man with a machete. The victim had gotten into a domestic argument and armed himself with the weapon before entering a neighboring yard. The man in the yard, Bruce Brooks, claimed self-defense and shot the victim with a handgun. Brooks, who has a prior felony conviction, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The investigation is ongoing, and a cash reward of $3,000 is available for anyone with useful information.
