Weather Update: Warmth Today, Summer Heat Tomorrow, and Shower Chance on Saturday.

The DC-area will experience mostly cloudy skies in the morning, but it will become partly sunny in the afternoon with highs ranging from 80 to 84. Tomorrow, temperatures will climb rapidly with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, but a strong cold front will arrive on Saturday, bringing light showers and dropping temperatures by 10 to 15 degrees. Mild conditions are expected for next week with partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid-70s.

Dry Weekend Ahead with Minimal Rain Chances

The Central Coast will experience some sunshine and warmer temperatures over the weekend, with Sunday being the warmest day due to a ridge of high pressure. Breezy conditions are expected in Santa Barbara county tonight, but they are not expected to reach advisory levels. Temperatures will lower by Tuesday as a trough extends down into California, and there is a small chance of light rain on Thursday, mainly in LA county and eastern SB county. Low clouds may also be an issue by Tuesday.
