
J-Pop Icon Miho Nakayama Passes Away at 54
Japanese singer and actor Miho Nakayama, renowned for her roles in the 1995 film Love Letter and her successful music career in the 1980s and 90s, has died at the age of 54. She was found dead in her Tokyo home, with the cause of death yet to be confirmed. Nakayama's management expressed shock and sadness at her sudden passing. Known for her J-pop hits and acting roles, Nakayama was also nominated for a Japanese Academy Award in 1998. She released her first studio album in two decades in 2019.
