"Venture Global Acquires Nine LNG Carriers for Global Shipping Operations"
Venture Global LNG has nine LNG carriers on order in South Korea, with six having a cargo capacity of 174,000 cbm and three with a capacity of 200,000 cbm. The company aims to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce GHG emissions by using the latest propulsion technology. This investment aligns with its long-term terminal use agreement for regasification capacity at Europe’s largest LNG import terminal. Venture Global is also making progress with its Calcasieu Pass LNG export terminal in Louisiana and is working on its Plaquemines LNG export plant and proposed CP2 LNG project.
