
"Study Reveals Income Needed for Comfortable Living in Major US Cities"
A new study by SmartAsset reveals that individuals in Colorado cities, including Colorado Springs, Denver, and Aurora, need higher salaries than the national average to live comfortably, based on a 50/30/20 budget model. The study found that Aurora ranks No. 18 out of the top 99 largest cities in the nation for the highest wage needed to live comfortably, with hourly wages over $45, while the Colorado minimum wage is currently $14.42 and in Denver, it’s $18.29.
