Scientists Achieve First Light Passage Through Human Head for Advanced Brain Imaging
Scientists from the University of Glasgow have developed a new technique that allows light to pass through the human head for deeper, non-invasive brain imaging using an enhanced form of near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), though currently only successful in one participant and requiring specific conditions.
