Israel Offers $400,000 Bounty on Hamas Leader's Head as Tensions Rise

Israel has dropped leaflets over Gaza offering cash rewards totaling $1 million for information leading to the capture of Hamas' top leadership, with the highest bounty of $400,000 for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Israeli forces have been trying to track Sinwar and his cohorts for weeks, surrounding his home in southern Gaza but he is believed to have taken shelter in the Hamas tunnels. Sinwar is known for his violent methods and is believed to be the mastermind behind the Oct. 7 terror attacks. Israel has vowed to continue the war in Gaza until Hamas is eradicated.
