Astronomers Find Massive Alien Planet 35 Times Earth's Size
Scientists discovered a giant, previously hidden exoplanet called Kepler-139f, which is about twice the mass of Neptune and 35 times Earth's mass, orbiting its star every 355 days. The planet was detected through analyzing orbital gaps, transit timing variations, and radial velocity measurements, revealing the limitations of traditional transit methods and highlighting the potential for finding more unseen worlds with future missions like ESA's PLATO.
