Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a 24-year-old legislative aide, has been fired from his job with Senator Ben Cardin after allegedly filming himself having sex with another man in the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing room. The incident gained attention after a graphic video was posted on social media, prompting an investigation by the United States Capitol Police. Maese-Czeropski hinted at potential legal action in a LinkedIn post, acknowledging "poor judgment" but denying involvement in an unrelated incident with Congressman Max Miller. Prior to working for Cardin, Maese-Czeropski had been involved in climate and energy advocacy and worked as a field organizer for the Democratic Party of Virginia.
