Iran's President Raisi Calls for End to Western Meddling and Nuclear Deal Return
President Ebrahim Raeisi addressed the United Nations General Assembly, stating that the global Americanization project has failed and that the world is transitioning into a new order. He emphasized Iran's commitment to mutually beneficial relations with its neighbors and support for regional and international economic and political convergence. Raeisi condemned the desecration of the Holy Qur'an and highlighted the dangers of Islamophobia. He criticized the division of the world into new "East, West" blocs and denounced the West's selective approach towards terrorism. Raeisi also declared that Israel cannot be a partner for peace and expressed Iran's opposition to the ongoing war in Ukraine, offering Iran's readiness to contribute to ending the conflict.
