JUICE captures interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS in stunning close-up
ESA’s JUICE mission, via the JANUS camera, has produced the first detailed image of the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS, revealing its glowing coma and a sweeping tail. The November 2025 observations helped assess the comet’s activity and composition, with results to be discussed in late March by scientists studying this rare interstellar visitor.
