Active Oceans Found on Two Moons of Uranus
Uranus's moon Ariel may have an internal ocean, according to a forthcoming paper that attributes radiation data from Voyager 2 to water molecules escaping from one of Uranus's moons. The concentration of particles is inconsistent with the initial explanation that they originated from the tail of Uranus's strangely tilted magnetosphere. If one of the Uranian moons has an internal ocean, it could support life, and there is a possibility of sampling these waters without needing to drill.
