"Ukraine's Cutting-Edge CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicles Redefine Modern Warfare"
Sweden and Denmark are jointly producing 35 new CV9035NL Mid-Life Update infantry fighting vehicles for Ukraine, with Denmark funding the project and Sweden handling the construction. These next-generation vehicles will provide Ukrainian forces with advanced features such as stabilized thermal vision for the commander, third-generation thermal vision systems for the commander and gunner, and a warning system to detect enemy targeting. The vehicles also offer increased protection against mine strikes and feature a 35-millimeter Bushmaster Mk. III armament with the capability to fire anti-tank missiles. Once in service, these new IFVs could become the most advanced in Russia's wider war on Ukraine.
