Maine Town Manager Dies Rescuing Son from Icy Pond

Maine town manager Kevin Howell, 51, tragically drowned while rescuing his 4-year-old son after both fell through the ice on Etna Pond near their home. Howell managed to get his son out of the water before instructing him to get help, but when his wife arrived and attempted to assist, she also fell through the ice.
