Michigan Officer and Dog Rescue Man from Icy Lake

A Michigan State Police officer, Kammeron Bennetts, used quick thinking and the help of a man's dog, Ruby, to rescue the man after he fell through the ice on Arbutus Lake. Bennetts tied a rescue disc to Ruby's collar and instructed the man to grab it and kick his legs, ultimately pulling him to safety with the help of a local firefighter. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment and later released, with the state police praising Ruby for her role in the rescue.
