Climate Change Amplified July's Heat for Majority of Global Population
An analysis by Climate Central reveals that over 80% of the world's population experienced heat in July that would have been statistically unlikely without human-caused climate change. The study, which includes 4,700 cities and 200 countries, found that more than four-fifths of the global population encountered temperatures at least three times more likely due to climate change.
