The update brings Colossal minions (each class gets one, plus six Deathwing lieutenants) and two new keywords, Herald (stacking with Deathwing-related cards) and Shatter (Dragonflights split for flexibility). Players will also see class-based Triumph and Last Stand spells, milestones for community rewards (including a Cataclysm signature), and March 10 trial cards for Emerald Dream and Lost City of Un'Goro during Cataclysm. A Core Set rotation accompanies the Year of the Scarab, with Core Set remaining free and aims for a stronger, more fluid meta. Visual updates, a new game board, and a Legend card back reward for 2026 top players are planned, with first-time Legend earners receiving both the new and classic backs.
