
Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Hail Storm Damages Plane
A Delta flight from Milan to New York was forced to make an emergency landing in Rome after being hit by severe turbulence and hail, causing damage to the nose and fuselage near the wings. Passengers described the experience as being on a roller coaster ride, with one passenger fearing the wing would break off. The plane landed safely, and there were no reported injuries among the 215 passengers, eight flight attendants, and three pilots onboard. Delta stated that maintenance personnel are evaluating the extent of the damage.
