Borderlands 4's More Grounded Story Marks a Shift from Parody
Gearbox is shifting towards a more grounded and serious tone for Borderlands 4, moving away from the joke-heavy style of Borderlands 3, to better fit the new setting of Kairos and its oppressive atmosphere, while still maintaining the series' signature humor and character depth.
