"Kenyan Cult Leader Charged with Terrorism in Starvation Deaths Case"
Kenyan cult leader Paul Mackenzie and 94 others have been charged with "terrorism"-related crimes over the deaths of 429 followers, whose bodies were found in the Shakahola forest. Mackenzie, head of the Good News International Church, allegedly incited his followers to starve themselves and their children to death in anticipation of the world ending. Autopsies revealed that most died of hunger, while others showed signs of violence. The group is also accused of engaging in organized criminal activities.
