Dozens of bodies have been exhumed from mass graves in a forest in Kenya, where members of the Good News International Church are believed to have starved themselves to death in order to reach heaven before the end of the world. The graves were discovered by rights organisation Haki Africa, which estimates that there are around 60 mass grave sites in the area. The final death toll could be much higher than the 89 bodies already exhumed, as 112 people have been reported missing.
