"Health Experts Reveal the Food and Drinks to Avoid - Is Your Favorite on the List?"
Health experts, including doctors, registered dietitians, and nutrition professors, have revealed the foods and drinks they tend to avoid. Some of the items on their naughty list include sugary alcoholic cocktails, sodas, sports drinks, sodium-rich foods like cured meats and canned soups, and foods with chemical additives or preservatives. They opt for healthier alternatives such as sparkling water with a dash of hard liquor, infused waters, Mediterranean-style diets, and well-cooked and well-seasoned vegetables. Consuming excessive amounts of sugar and salt can lead to various health issues, including high blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. The American Heart Association recommends limiting sodium intake to 2,300 mg per day and added sugar intake to 9 teaspoons for men and 6 teaspoons for women.
