Halo Infinite's December update introduces Firefight: King of the Hill, a new incarnation of the popular cooperative mode. 343 Industries has announced a major update for Halo: Master Chief Collection, introducing new content, quality-of-life improvements, and modding enhancements. Israeli military forces and Palestinian militants engaged in a huge firefight in Jenin, resulting in at least three Palestinians dead and more than two dozen wounded. Israeli Air Force attack helicopters were used to help evacuate wounded troops, and it was the first time since the Second Intifada that Israeli helicopters had opened fire. The firefight was still ongoing as of 10:45 a.m local time, and the Palestinians killed included a teenager and two men in their 20s.
Ukrainian border guards successfully repelled a Wagner Group assault on the city of Bakhmut, killing or injuring 19 fighters. The Wagner Group fighters attempted to approach the border guards’ positions covertly, but were spotted and fired upon. Retreating, they hid in a semi-destroyed neighbourhood, where the border guards were able to strike them. Seven Wagner Group fighters were killed and 12 injured.
Ukraine's 5th Assault Brigade shared a video of a tank assault on a Russian trench in an unspecified region of Ukraine. The video shows the tank firing on the trench before Russian soldiers scatter. Fierce battles continue to be waged throughout Ukraine more than a year after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an invasion of the country. The video may be disturbing to viewers.
