"Halo Infinite's Exciting Firefight: King of the Hill Mode Arrives in Season 5"
Halo Infinite's December update introduces Firefight: King of the Hill, a new incarnation of the popular cooperative mode. Players face waves of Banished enemies in a PvE experience, capturing and holding hills while fending off progressively harder enemies. Points are earned by capturing hills and defeating Boss Waves, with a win requiring capturing at least three hills. The mode features a new elimination mechanic for respawns, and Skull difficulty modifiers are earned and enabled based on performance. Custom Game options allow for customization of the experience, and nine maps are available at launch.
