Wyden's letter raises concerns related to federal tax and ethics laws, and asks for evidence that Crow had complied with federal tax law. The allegations against Thomas were referred to the Judicial Conference of the United States after a ProPublica article detailed lavish trips taken by Thomas that were funded by Crow.
