Sen. Wyden demands list of gifts from billionaire friend of Justice Thomas.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden has asked billionaire Harlan Crow to provide a complete inventory of gifts and payments he has made to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, including private real estate transactions and the complimentary use of his private jet and superyacht. Wyden's letter raises concerns related to federal tax and ethics laws, and asks for evidence that Crow had complied with federal tax law. The allegations against Thomas were referred to the Judicial Conference of the United States after a ProPublica article detailed lavish trips taken by Thomas that were funded by Crow.
