Federal Court and FDA Take Action Against Utah-based Nutrition Companies, Halting Sales and Manufacturing
Two Utah-based nutrition companies, Evig LLC (Balance of Nature) and Premium Productions LLC, have been ordered by a federal court to cease production and sales of their supplements after violating the federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Evig is accused of making false claims about their supplements' ability to cure diseases, including COVID-19, while Premium Productions failed to follow manufacturing practices and quality control procedures. Both companies had previously received warning letters from the FDA in 2019.
