Oath Keepers founder sentenced for seditious conspiracy in Jan. 6 attack.

Oath Keepers founder, Stewart Rhodes, and another member of his far-right militia are set to be sentenced for conspiring to prevent the peaceful transfer of power on Jan. 6, 2021, and keep former President Donald Trump in office. The sentencing comes after a July 2022 Jan. 6 Committee hearing focused on how far-right groups, including the Oath Keepers, reacted to a tweet by Trump calling on supporters to head to Washington on Jan. 6.
