New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced the expansion of the state's fully paid parental leave program, covering more than 150,000 state employees. The agreement with the Civil Service Employees Association will provide 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave to more than 52,000 employees, while agreements with the Public Employees Federation and the United University Professions would offer the same benefit to more than 88,000 employees if ratified.
