
Hepatitis A Case Confirmed in Falmouth Restaurant Worker
A food service worker at the Dockside Grill in Falmouth, Maine has been diagnosed with hepatitis A, a contagious liver disease. Anyone who dined at the restaurant between Oct. 23-25 and Nov. 6-8 may have been exposed and is advised to get a hepatitis A vaccine within 14 days of exposure. Symptoms may appear up to 50 days after exposure and can include fatigue, stomach pain, nausea, and jaundice.
