'Extreme Weight Loss' Star Brandi Mallory's Cause of Death Linked to Obesity
Brandi Mallory, a former contestant on ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" reality series, died at the age of 40 from complications of obesity, according to a medical examiner report. Mallory, who dropped over 150 pounds during her appearance on the show, was found unresponsive in her car in a mall parking lot. The cause of death was determined to be natural, with no evidence of foul play. Traces of cannabis and alcohol were found in her system but did not contribute to her death.
