The charges stem from Hill's alleged financial exploitation of the woman, whom she met through her position as a city commissioner, and continued for about three years. If convicted of all charges, Hill faces a maximum of 180 years in prison. Governor Ron DeSantis indicated that Hill could be suspended from her role as city commissioner following the indictment.
