Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill, 58, has been arrested and charged with seven felonies, including exploitation of the elderly and fraudulent use of personal identification, for allegedly stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a 96-year-old woman to pay for personal expenses such as a facelift, dental surgery, hotel rooms, and home renovations. The charges stem from Hill's alleged financial exploitation of the woman, whom she met through her position as a city commissioner, and continued for about three years. If convicted of all charges, Hill faces a maximum of 180 years in prison. Governor Ron DeSantis indicated that Hill could be suspended from her role as city commissioner following the indictment.
