Eagles' A.J. Brown Escapes Scare During Charity Bike Ride.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was nearly hit by a car during a charity bike ride, but he escaped unharmed. The Eagles Autism Challenge, a charity event, raised a record-breaking $6.2 million this year, bringing the total raised by the Eagles Autism Foundation to over $22 million. The Washington Commanders have brought back assistant athletic trainer Doug Quon after he was placed on administrative leave during an investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. The Abington girls flag football team went undefeated in their first-ever season and were honored by the Philadelphia Eagles.

"Philly's Italian Market Festival Returns Bigger and Better"

Lorenzo's won the South 9th Street Italian Market Festival's inaugural cheesesteak contest in Philadelphia, with FoodChasers' Kitchen and Woodrow's Sandwich Shop coming in second and third, respectively. The contest was sponsored by Deer Park, who donated $5,000 to Eagles Autism Challenge in Lorenzo's name. Judges included former Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter, who estimated the seven bites of sandwiches were equivalent to a full-size sandwich.
