The Directorate of State Services (DSS) has searched the Lagos and Abuja residences of the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, and his office at the bank's headquarters in Abuja. The DSS is investigating Emefiele over his conduct during his tenure as Governor of the CBN. During the searches, the DSS took away old phones, laptops, watches, and N250k in cash found in his bedroom. Emefiele is now able to see his lawyers and wife after a court order.
