NY Authorities Bust Major Drug Ring, Arrest 48 and Seize Millions in Drugs

The drug ring operated in five counties in the Finger Lakes region, and some of the dealers sold fentanyl in pill form, claiming that it was oxycodone, putting their buyers at even greater risk.

Ex-NY Cop Convicted of Murdering Four Men.

Nicholas Tartaglione, a retired police officer who had shared a cell with Jeffrey Epstein, has been convicted of murdering four men over a debt. Police Union Officials Involved in Fentanyl Dealing Operations

Joanne Marian Segovia, a 64-year-old grandmother and former executive director of the San Jose Police Officers’ Association, has been accused of running a drug ring from her California home and importing a synthetic opioid called Valeryl fentanyl. Her neighbors are shocked, comparing the situation to the TV show “Breaking Bad.” Segovia allegedly received at least 61 packages containing deadly synthetic opioids and strong painkillers, which she distributed across the US. Despite meeting with agents at least twice, the grandmother continued to correspond on WhatsApp with someone using a country code from India in March 2023. Segovia has been released with no bond and placed under supervised release.
