These monetization efforts have raised concerns about the game's direction and its resemblance to Star Citizen's approach. Despite claims of open and transparent development, the game's continuous monetization without an official release date has drawn criticism.
Dr Disrespect, a popular streamer, revealed during a livestream that Bethesda Game Studios refused to work with him and denied him early access to their upcoming game, Starfield, due to his past controversies.
