OWC has announced its first Thunderbolt 5 dock, priced at $189, compatible with the new M4 Pro Mac mini and M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pro, which feature Thunderbolt 5 ports. Plugable has released the USB4 Dual Monitor Docking Station, featuring two HDMI 2.1 ports that can connect compatible laptops to dual 4K displays running at 120Hz. The dock requires a USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4 port with 40Gbps bandwidth. It is designed for Windows 10 systems and offers reduced display options for Thunderbolt 3. While macOS does not support the dock's multi-stream transport (MST) technology, it can still provide one additional display at 4K 60Hz or 8K 60Hz. Plugable's dock is among the first to support dual 4K/120Hz displays, with other companies like Kensington also introducing similar docks. The Plugable dock includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and nine other ports, including USB-A and USB-C ports, SD card slots, an ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Logitech has unveiled the Logi Dock Flex, a docking station designed for hot desking offices. The gadget connects to your laptop via USB-C with up to 100W power and has a further six USB ports for peripherals. The device has an 8-in screen to show whether the desk is free or booked. Companies can choose from Microsoft Teams, Zoom Workspace Reservation and Logitech’s desk booking services. The Logitech Logi Dock Flex will launch this Fall, retailing for US$699 in the US, £749 in the UK and €849 in the EU.

Full European pricing for the Google Pixel Tablet has leaked, with the 128 GB variant costing €679.99 and the 256 GB variant costing €799.99 in France. The Pixel Tablet will be more expensive than Apple's entry-level iPad and the cheapest iPad Air configuration. Microsoft has launched a new docking station for its latest Surface devices equipped with Thunderbolt 4 ports. The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock has eight ports and provides a comprehensive collection of eight current USB Type-C and legacy USB Type-A connectors along with a 2.5GbE. The dock does not have a Surface Connect port, making it compatible with non-Surface USB-C devices, including Windows OEM devices and Apple Macs. The dock supports enterprise-grade features and offers Firmware Update via Windows Update, Wake on LAN from Modern Standby, and MAC Address Pass-Through‎. The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock will be available shortly directly from Microsoft as well as from its resellers for $299.
