"Tech Exodus: Denver and Boulder Lure California's Talent and Capital"
The Denver-Boulder metro region in Colorado has been attracting a growing number of tech founders and workers from California, with companies like AgentSync thriving after relocating. The area has seen significant investment and growth in its tech industry, with over 24,000 tech businesses and $17 billion in VC funding pouring in over the last five years. However, there are challenges in diversifying the business community, with Black-owned businesses accounting for only 1.5% of all companies despite a 7.1% Black population in the metro area. Efforts are being made to support minority-owned tech startups, but there is still work to be done in fostering a more inclusive industry in Denver and Boulder.
