"Father Creates ALS Protocol to Aid Daughter's Treatment"
Deanna Tedone, diagnosed with ALS over 15 years ago, credits her father, a retired orthopedic surgeon, for developing "The Deanna Protocol" to slow the progression of the disease. The protocol, a mixture of three substances, has shown promising results in slowing the deterioration of ALS patients. Tedone's daughter, who follows the protocol, has experienced a significantly better quality of life and now advocates for alternative solutions to neurodegenerative diseases through the group "Winning The Fight," which is hosting a fundraising event in Tampa Bay on Feb. 24 called "Shoot For The Cure."
