"Fatal Vitamin D Overdose Sparks Health Warning"
An 89-year-old man died from vitamin D toxicity after his levels reached a record high, prompting a coroner to issue a warning to supplement manufacturers. The man's death was attributed to hypercalcemia, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney failure, and Ischaemic Heart Disease. The coroner found that the supplements lacked proper guidance and urged for warnings to be printed on packaging to prevent future deaths.
