Intel has launched its Core Ultra 100 "Meteor Lake" series, featuring up to 16 CPU cores and an Arc GPU with 8 Xe-Cores. The architecture utilizes four smaller dies consolidated through Intel Foveros technology, and it is the first time Intel will use TSMC chips on its processors. The CPUs support the latest connectivity standards and can work with LPDDR5(x)-7467 memory or DDR5-5600. The integrated GPU architecture is based on 8 Xe-Cores and offers improved performance compared to previous generations. The CPUs also feature AI acceleration, delivering up to 34 TOPS. The Core Ultra 100 series marks a departure from Intel's traditional naming scheme and introduces a simplified tiering system.
