
Tragic Sledding Accident Claims Lives of Two Teens at Copper Mountain Resort
Two teenage boys from Illinois died in a sledding accident at Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado. The teens rode tandem down the halfpipe and launched from a large snowbank at the bottom, causing blunt force trauma upon landing on the hard ice below. Despite immediate medical attention, they could not be revived. The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
