NASA's telescopes combine to reveal stunning views of the cosmos.
NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and James Webb Space Telescope have collaborated to produce composite images of galaxies, a nebula, and a cluster of stars that are invisible to humans. The images reveal plumes and arcs of gas and dust, which serve as material for the formation of stars and planets. The James Webb Space Telescope has exceeded expectations, and the space observatory could easily exceed its expected 10-year lifespan.
